The implementation of mass vaccination in several regions which was carried out simultaneously also received appreciation from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo. The President who was present in Ponorogo Regency virtually asked all parties to continue to make efforts to accelerate vaccination. In addition, all people must continue to be disciplined in implementing health protocols and maximize the use of centralized isolation places or isoters.

Thus, Jokowi added, it can continue to suppress Covid-19 cases and can minimize the massive attacks of viruses that always mutate every time like the Delta type of virus. For regions whose vaccine stocks are running low, the President appealed to immediately submit to the government so that this vaccination program is not hampered in its implementation.

The Head of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Regional Management who is also the Caretaker of the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School, KH. Marzuki Mustamar said that most of the students in Islamic boarding schools in East Java have been vaccinated. His party also appreciates the acceleration program ordered by President Jokowi so that herd immunity continues to be formed increasingly.

A similar statement was made by the Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Budi Hermanto, who admitted that he would accelerate vaccination by going out of his way. The man who is familiarly called Buher said that his staff would coordinate and synergize with the Kodim, Korem, Islamic boarding school administrators, mosque administrators and the Malang City Government to accelerate this vaccination.

Buher added that in its implementation, it will be carried out with a door-to-door system, namely the police or TNI will come to the place of the students or mosque congregation who will be vaccinated. This program also received full support from the Head of the Malang City Health Service, Dr. Husnul Muarif who was also present at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School.

"We will certainly support all TNI-Polri programs, Islamic boarding schools, mosque administrators and others. So that herd immunity in Malang City will be formed even bigger. Thus it will also help suppress Covid-19 cases," he concluded. (say/ram)
