Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji led the 74th Anniversary of the Cooperative online from the Ngalam Command Center (NCC) Malang City Hall, Tuesday (7/9/2021).
At this event, PT Bentoel also donated laptops and computers to women's cooperatives and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Malang City. The donation from PT Bentoel was 60 laptops and 10 computers.
Mayor Sutiaji thanked PT Bentoel on the 74th Anniversary of the Cooperative for donating to the development of cooperatives and MSMEs in Malang City. This assistance can be used well to lift MSMEs in Malang City.
"Not only for accounting purposes, but it can also be used for publication purposes, taking pictures, uploading goods marketed through e-commerce. This is important because 95 percent of the economy in Indonesia is MSMEs and 85 percent of them have an e-commerce market," added Sutiaji.
Government Affairs Manager of PT Bentoel, Eko Soenjojo said that this donation is expected to be able to move the community's economy. Because during the current Covid-19 pandemic, many MSMEs are experiencing difficulties and are destroyed in various sectors of life.
"We believe this activity can provide motivation to all audiences, including MSMEs to move towards a better future," explained Eko. (cah/ram)
