Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Golkar Party DPD held a Covid-19 vaccination at its office located on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Malang City, Monday (20/9/2021). This vaccination was held in a different way, namely the Golkar Party provided basic necessities to 2.000 vaccination participants as well as axxatha herbal medicine made by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko.

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, who was present to review the vaccination, said he was pleased with the efforts of the Golkar Party DPD of Malang City to help the government make the vaccination program a success. This is very good for overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic together so that Malang City will recover soon. "Currently, Covid-19 vaccination has reached 70 percent in Malang City. This success cannot be separated from the cooperation of all parties," explained Sutiaji.
If residents have been vaccinated up to 70 percent, it means that Malang City has created herd immunity. However, Mayor Sutiaji continues to remind Malang City residents to always comply with health protocols.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the East Java Golkar Party DPD, M Sarmuji, said that the vaccination program in Malang City was an effort by the Golkar Party DPD to play a role and help the people of Malang City. This is a real manifestation of political parties together with the government to improve the welfare of the community. "The more people are vaccinated, the faster herd immunity will be created," said Sarmuji.
If herd immunity has been created, then in the future it will be better to normalize community activities. Even so, the community must not be careless, the problem is that even though not many are infected with Covid-19, there are still some.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Golkar Party DPD for Malang City, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, deliberately created a good vaccination atmosphere so that people would not be afraid. This is an education that vaccines are not something scary. "This vaccination activity was also attended by participants wearing traditional clothes, this is to make the vaccination atmosphere not tense," he said. (cah/ram)
