Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BP Jamsostek), BRI, Pegadaian and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) was symbolically handed over in front of Malang City Hall, Friday (24/9/2021). The distribution of CSR is a form of synergy between Malang Financial Services in welcoming Financial Inclusion Month.

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji symbolically handed over CSR assistance to the recipients. On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang also symbolically received CSR distribution from BRI in the form of one ambulance unit to the Malang City Government which will then be managed by the Malang City Health Office.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who have distributed CSR. He also hopes that the distribution of CSR from OJK, BP Jamsostek and banking that is distributed can be beneficial for the recipients. "Hopefully a blessing of fortune, a blessing of age, and hopefully we are included as people who are husnul khotimah," he concluded.
Head of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Malang Sugiarto Kasmuri revealed that this time there were several series of CSR handovers, including the handover of Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) to workers in Malang City amounting to IDR 1 million from BP Jamsostek. Then claim compensation to BP Jamsostek participants consisting of RT/RW administrators, Linmas, then there were health workers who died due to exposure to Covid-19.
"This is certainly something positive that we need to convey, that BP Jamsostek is here to help the community in the midst of the pandemic. Because currently Jamsostek membership is not only intended for wage-earning employees, but also the general public who want to become BP Jamsostek participants with a premium of Rp16.800,00," he said.
He added that BP Jamsostek also collaborates with BSI Malang. This utilizes BSI's CSR in the form of premium payments for three months to 250 mosque caretakers in Malang City. The hope is that this will continue, so that later all mosque caretakers in Malang City can become BP Jamsostek participants.
In addition, BRI also handed over CSR in the form of an ambulance unit which according to him during this pandemic is very much needed to provide services to the community in Malang City. Pegadaian also distributed CSR to 213 orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. (yon/ram)
