Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, said that activities like this are very good to do so that the elderly in Malang City remain active and productive. "Although they are no longer young, the elderly in RW 9, Pisang Candi Village can inspire," explained Bung Edi.

Through learning together, we can exchange experiences and share knowledge among the elderly. This condition must continue to be transmitted so that more elderly-friendly schools grow. "Everything is self-sufficient, worked on by the community itself," said Edi.

Bung Edi greatly appreciates the assistance from the Indonesian Elderly Friendly Community and also from the Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University. This further supports the government's efforts to empower the elderly. The hope is that by remaining active in activities, the elderly can have positive activities at an age that is no longer young. Through this activity, it is hoped that the government's role can be presented to provide space for the elderly to be active. (cah/ram)
