Breadfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – The Interfaith and Belief Relations Commission (HAK) of the Malang City Diocese held a Covid-19 vaccination at the SVD building on Jalan Rajabasa, Sunday (26/9/2021). Participants who took part in the vaccination orderly implemented health protocols during the event.

Chairman of the HAK Commission of the Diocese of Malang, Father Peter B Sarbini, revealed that the activity at the SVD was attended by 617 participants. Vaccination participants came from various regions in Indonesia, not only from Malang City. "Many of today's vaccination participants came from Papua, Maluku, and from various regions in Indonesia. Most of them are students studying in Malang City," explained Peter.
Peter added that in carrying out vaccinations, his party does not discriminate. As long as they are Indonesian citizens, they will definitely be accepted to take the vaccine. This is a joint step to fight the spread of Covid-19. Apart from people from outside the area, vaccine participants at the SVD building also come from two areas in Malang City, namely Pisang Candi Village and Karang Besuki Village.
"After the first phase of the Covid-19 vaccine is completed, we are also preparing the second phase of the Sinovac vaccine in this building again (SVD)," said Peter.
The second stage of vaccination, said Peter, people who have received the first stage of vaccination are no longer confused about where to find the second stage of vaccination. Because the HAK of the Malang City Diocese has prepared it. This vaccination is assisted by medical personnel from the Panti Waluyo Sawahan Hospital.
"This vaccination is for all religious and ethnic groups, without discrimination. This is a form of love for the people and nation of Indonesia. If all are served well, it is hoped that it can help the community and government create group immunity," he concluded. (cah/ram)
