Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Malang City has again held a program to visit sub-districts since last September. This program is one of the ways and innovations of Bapenda in realizing this year's tax revenue target of Rp462 billion.

Related to this, according to the Head of Bapenda Malang City, Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP., M.Si, it is a service to bring closer the payment service of Land and Building Tax (PBB). From this service, taxpayers can also split land certificates from the parent tax object.
"In addition, if there is a discrepancy in area or ownership, it is also served by Bapenda officers. So, Bapenda visits the sub-district not only to serve PBB payments," said Handi, Friday (8/10/2021).
Although Bapenda has provided online tax payment services, he added, taxpayers are still enthusiastic about paying their taxes through this program. "One of the attractions is that after paying taxes, residents get prizes, such as umbrellas, masks, hand sanitizers, and cups," explained Handi.

This service, he said, is not limited to residents of sub-districts where the Bapenda sambang kelurahan program is present. Residents in the nearest sub-district can also pay taxes. Like when Bapenda sambang kelurahan is at the Kedungkandang Sub-district Office, then residents of Sawojajar or Buring Sub-districts are allowed.
With the absence of these restrictions, Handi explained, his party actually achieved more optimal tax payment revenue. In fact, many taxpayers paid taxes beyond predictions, such as rental/boarding house tax, restaurant tax, and advertising.
Of the nine sources of tax revenue, Handi said, BPHTB, hotel restaurant and PBB taxes contributed greatly to achieving tax revenue. "From the target of Rp462 billion to date, around Rp300 billion has been realized and by the end of the year we are optimistic that the target will be realized," he concluded. (say/ram)
