Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government participated in virtually commemorating the 76th Anniversary of East Java from the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Wednesday (13/10/2021). The anniversary ceremony was led by the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, wearing traditional Malang clothing.
East Java Governor Kofifah Indar Parawansa expressed East Java's optimism to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. With the cooperation of all parties, East Java is optimistic that it will recover soon in all fields, including the economy. "East Java must rise, continue to inspire, be an example, a role model to build a life full of togetherness and harmony for other regions in Indonesia," explained Kofifah.
With good social capital, East Java must continue to be a role model and a leader in various fields of life. To become a friendly and tolerant home for all children of the nation to be more prosperous and happy. While continuing to strive and pray in every effort made.
"East Java, God willing, will always be under the protection and help of Allah. Prayers from the community, clerics, students, and all religious figures will continue to go hand in hand with the efforts of the East Java Provincial Government to recover quickly from the Covid-19 pandemic," Khofifah hoped.
East Java has also been tested by being a tough individual and being able to get through this difficult time. Real evidence of East Java being one of the provinces at level 1 Covid-19 in Java and Bali. This success has inspired various other regions to be able to enter level 1 as a sign that Covid-19 control is well maintained.
"Therefore, I appeal to all East Java residents to immediately recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic," he continued.
Also present at the virtual ceremony in Malang City were the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji, Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, Forkopimda of Malang City. At this event, assistance was handed over to orphans from the Pondok Yatim Darul Jundi Orphanage Foundation. (cah/ram)
