In this context, including the tourism and creative economy sectors. However, when the pandemic began to subside like it is now, although slowly but surely, these sectors began to rise and stir.

From this condition, a number of associations and professional organizations merged into a container labeled the Indonesian Creative Economy Association Association (GAPI) on Thursday (28/10/2021) in the Cyber ​​Mall Dieng hall. The organizations that are members of GAPI include the Indonesian Tour Guide Association, the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Malang Raya, and the Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies.

GAPI Coordinator Mochamad Andarinsyah said, through GAPI, this organization is determined and agreed to promote the world of tourism and creative economy products in Malang Raya. "During the Covid-19 pandemic, the tourism and creative economy sectors were greatly affected. Although they are currently starting to recover and grow, they are still not optimal," he said.

Referring to this, added the man who is familiarly called Anda, GAPI will try its best to help optimize so that the economy continues to grow significantly. As for GAPI's closest program, it will hold a coffee festival in December.

"This pandemic has been going on for quite a long time and almost all business people admit that they are starting to get tired, and our presence will help them. At least we have a strong commitment and will collaborate with several related parties later, in order to realize our determination," Anda continued.

GAPI Chairman Mochamad Andarinsyah symbolically handed over assistance to the orphanage management after signing the joint decree on the formation of GAPI.

The existence of GAPI received appreciation from the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko. According to him, this organization will greatly assist tourism and creative economy business actors and managers. In the midst of conditions like today, the bespectacled man said that concern and togetherness from all parties are needed so that the community's economy continues to grow.

"The existence of GAPI is our hope to accelerate the realization of a productive ecosystem in supporting the tourism sector, especially the creative economy and the establishment of a holistic system in order to make a success not only of the creative economy but also of the tourism sector," said the man who is familiarly called Bung Edi.
