Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Poultry Slaughterhouse and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Wholesale Center of the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tugu Aneka Usaha (Tunas) of Malang City was inaugurated by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji, Thursday (28/10/2021). At this event, the President Director, Operational Director, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Members of the Supervisory Board of Perumda Tunas Malang City were also inaugurated.
The inaugurated officials were the President Director of Perumda Tunas Malang City Dodot Widodo, SE., MM, Operational Director Rinaldi Prihartanto S, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Elfiatur Roikhah, SE. Ak., MM, and Member of the Supervisory Board of Perumda Tunas Malang City Dr. Leo Herlambang, SE., MM.
Mayor Sutiaji revealed that Perumda Tunas Kota Malang is a giant Perumda. However, giant or not all depends on a leader and supervisors in it.
Since 2018, Sutiaji said, the potential of Malang City related to income is extraordinary. In addition, there are also many potentials in the community that must be empowered.
"Starting from those two things, there is a regional public company that oversees all of that. So we provide education to the community, those who are originally unskilled become skilled, and when they are skilled they are able to produce. Later, friends from Perumda Tunas will be in the business phase, packaging until it reaches the market," he explained.
According to Sutiaji, there are many other potentials in Malang City. For example, land owned by the Malang City Government that can be managed by Perumda Tunas to become environmental tourism, culinary tourism, or others.
