Breadfruit, MC – Continuing to maintain harmony between religious communities in Malang City, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) held a gathering with Buddhists at the Semanggi Viriya Malang Foundation, Jalan Telaga Bodas, Karang Besuki Village, Malang City, Monday (1/11/2021).
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said, this gathering is to strengthen the relationship between religious communities in Malang City. "So it reminds us that we cannot live alone, we must live side by side. When that can be understood, God willing, our rights and obligations can be carried out well and in balance," said Mayor Sutiaji.
He added that through this social gathering activity to build harmony together, he was sure that when all parties understood, they would be able to sit side by side.
"When we are harmonious, development in Malang City can run well, without any obstacles. Even if there are problems, they can be resolved immediately. So the goal is for interfaith harmony," he concluded. (yon)
