So it is necessary to have a kind of extension, one of which is the existence of a posyandu or integrated service post.
Posyandu in each RW must collaborate with other community elements, such as dasawisma and TP PKK. So that the role of posyandu is truly felt and present in the midst of society.
These were some of the things conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, at the event 'Meeting of Posyandu as a Village Community Institution (LKD) and the 2021 City-Level Follow-up Plan' at the Aria Gajayana Hotel, Monday (8/11/2021).

"We will continue to carry out posyandu strengthening programs, so that the community is well served. On the other hand, data related to diseases or outbreaks that occur in the community will be detected early. Then, handling can also be done earlier so that the outbreak does not spread. Such as dengue fever because it is currently the rainy season," added Sutiaji.
The number one person in the Malang City Government added that collaboration and acceleration must continue to be strengthened and each institution must understand each other's functions. So that no parties are blamed later. Of the 648 posyandus that currently exist, they should have accurate data. Like in an RT and RW how many residents are sick, healthy, or have died.
