Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji and his staff continued to monitor and directly distribute aid to residents affected by the flash floods that also hit several points in Malang City on Thursday (4/11/2021).
"We must overcome this disaster together, working together and working together to help our brothers and sisters who are victims is the key to the success of our efforts to ease their burden," said Mayor Sutiaji, Monday (8/11/2021).
Normalization of houses and residents' needs must also continue to be carried out. Considering that currently residents have also started to return to their respective homes and no longer linger in evacuation. "I really want residents to return to their homes immediately if their homes have been cleaned. Because in evacuation, health is not guaranteed and psychologically uncomfortable," he said again.
"Inventory of residents' needs is also being carried out continuously so that there is no accumulation of basic necessities, as is currently happening. Our next focus is on medicines, stationery and school uniforms, because many have been swept away," said the bespectacled man.
Reviewing several affected locations, Mayor Sutiaji was accompanied by the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP Widayati Sutiaji. In the event, basic food packages were symbolically handed over to residents on Jalan Muharto Gang 5, Jalan Permadi, Polehan Village, RT 7 RW 2, Jatimulyo Village and the Kampung Putih area, Klojen Village.
