Klojen, MC – Cultivating the spirit of love for the homeland, emulating the fighting spirit of the heroes, the National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) of Malang City held the 2021 Nusantara Cultural Parade at Kanjuruhan University, Malang, Wednesday (10/11/2021).

Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko said that to be able to be like today, the Indonesian nation must go through various long processes. The struggle has been shown by the predecessors of the Indonesian nation so that they can achieve independence.
"This activity was held in conjunction with the commemoration of Heroes' Day which falls on November 10, 2021. Hopefully the spirit of the heroes will continue to inspire us all," explained Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname.
Bung Edi added, the Nusantara Cultural Parade is a reminder of the value of the unity of the Indonesian nation that the Republic of Indonesia accommodates the territory from Sabang to Merauke. After independence was successfully achieved, the next step is to always fill that independence with something positive.
"Malang City is a miniature of the Indonesian nation. Various tribes and cultures exist in Malang City. For that, unity and cooperation must continue to be maintained so that this city can continue and become more advanced and harmonious," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Bakesbangpol Malang City Dra. Rinawati, MM said, this event is to empower the potential of regional organizations (orda) in Malang City. In addition, it is also to improve communication and friendship between the Malang City Government and the local government of origin of the orda. "We hope to be able to introduce the culture of the community and the situation of Malang City to the wider community. So as to promote Malang City to other regions," said Rinawati.
This event is also a commemoration of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day and the 76th Heroes' Day. The goal is to improve harmony between the orda and the citizens of Malang City. So that they can live side by side and in harmony and contribute to Malang City.
Dozens of regions participated in this event, including Malang, Lampung, Tangerang, Bali, Aceh, Maluku, West Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, Riau, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Java, West Nusa Tenggara, Bangka Belitung, and South Sulawesi.
