Malang, MC – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Malang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) together with the Malang City District Court and the Malang District Attorney's Office again held a trial for a Minor Criminal Offense (Tipiring) case in the Mini Block Office hall of the Malang City Hall, Wednesday (24/11/2021).
Acting Head of Satpol PP Malang City Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP., M. Si explained that his party continues to intensify efforts to enforce regional regulations (perda) of East Java Province and perda of Malang City. The aim is to improve public order and tranquility.
"We expect cooperation from all parties to create a comfortable environment in Malang City. We continue to prioritize education about the bylaw, but enforcement is certainly carried out as a follow-up option," appealed Mayor Sutiaji.
In this trial, 32 violators were processed covering five categories. The details include three cases of violations of Malang City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Control and Supervision of the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages; three cases of violations of East Java Provincial Regulation Number 2 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Public Order, Security and Protection of the Community; seven cases of violations of Malang City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2009 concerning Parking Lot Management.
In addition, four cases of violation of Malang City Regulation Number 4 of 2006 concerning the Implementation of Advertising, and 15 cases of violation of Malang City Regulation Number 2 of 2012 concerning Public Order and the Environment. "The total sanctions in this trial reached Rp7,5 million and were directly deposited into the state treasury," he concluded. (ndu/ram)
