Malang, MC – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) held the Malang City Corporate Social Responsibility (TSP) Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) at the Mini Block Office, Malang City Hall, Wednesday (24/11/2021).

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech emphasized the importance of regional development carried out by all stakeholders, including the business world.
"The development collaboration model is now heading in the direction of hexahelix ABBCGM or academics, business, banking, community, government and media. This is the breath behind strengthening the role of corporate social responsibility in development in Malang City," said the bespectacled man.
Sutiaji said that the TSP musrenbang is one of the forms of follow-up to the Malang Mayor Regulation Number 42 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility. Its substance is in line with the development planning paradigm currently adopted in Indonesia, namely combining the principles of policy top-down, bottom-up, and technocratic.
"Musrenbang TSP is believed to be an innovation that accommodates the moral obligation of the business world to play a role in development through a scheme and governance that is directed and increasingly accountable. This process will be different from the conventional TSP scheme which seems sporadic and not always in line with the aspirations of the community," added Mayor Sutiaji.
Furthermore, he also expressed positive appreciation for the role of all members of the Corporate Social Responsibility Implementation Forum which has been ratified through the Decree of the Mayor of Malang Number: 188.45/154/35.73.112/2021 which actively bridges communication between parties towards the implementation of the 2021 TSP Musrenbang.
"In return, I emphasize that the Malang City Government is ready to provide better quality services and ease of doing business to the business world according to the provisions. Gone are the days when it is easy to make things difficult," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Bappeda Malang City Dwi Rahayu, SH., M. Hum in his report said that the TJSP musrenbang aims to accommodate musrenbang proposals that are not budgeted in the Malang City APBD. So that the alternative financing scheme is presented through the Corporate Social Responsibility Forum (TJSP) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Malang City.
"There are hundreds of proposals from the community that are offered to the business world, covering the fields of education, health, infrastructure, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and social," explained the friendly woman.
Each priority proposal brought to this forum has gone through the TSP pre-musrenbang stage selection process on November 17, 2021. Details of the number of proposals in each field are: 278 proposals for the social sector, 223 proposals for the infrastructure sector, 184 proposals for the MSME sector, (4) 79 proposals for the health sector, and 45 proposals for the education sector.
In the series of TSP Malang City musrenbang activities, awards were also given to a number of companies that supported vaccination in Malang City, UMKM product exhibitions, and free health checks. (ndu/ram)
