Breadfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – The betta fish community of Malang City called Malang Betta Contest has successfully won various championships at local and national levels. On that basis, the community will again hold a betta fish competition.
Owner of Malang Betta Contes Arif Sutikno revealed that his party had successfully held a championship in Bandulan Village, Sukun District, Malang City on October 30, 2021. Furthermore, Malang Betta Contes will hold a championship in Lawang District, Malang Regency on January 8-9, 2022.
"In addition to Lawang, in the future we will also hold championships in Kepanjen, Tumpang. Then in April 2022 to celebrate Malang City's Anniversary," explained Ambon, Arif Sutikno's nickname, Saturday (27/11/2021).
Ambon added, in addition to holding the championship in Malang City, his party is also preparing championships in various regions in Malang Raya. The goal is so that betta fish enthusiasts in the Malang Raya area can see more closely how the championship takes place.
"Many championship events, both at local and national levels, were won by Malang youth. We hope there will be more winners from Malang," said Ambon.
If many betta fish from Malang win, then automatically the sale of betta fish will also increase. Because its quality has been tested through competition. "Anything can happen, this will lift the economy and betta fish tourism in Malang City," he concluded. (cah/ram)
