Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In a series of commemorations of the 50th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia Civil Service Corps (Korpri) 2021, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) held a blood donation in the yard of the Mini Block Office, Malang City Hall, Tuesday (14/12/2021).

In this activity initiated by the Malang City Human Resources and Personnel Agency (BKSDM), compensation was also provided to state civil servants (ASN) who experienced a disaster, namely their families who died due to exposure to Covid-19.
Head of BKPSDM Malang City Drs. Totok Kasianto revealed, at this moment, assistance was also handed over from the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Malang City to the community affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
"There was also the handover of educational equipment. Hopefully, on the 50th anniversary of Korpri in 2021, it will continue to improve services and hopefully can provide benefits for families and the people of Malang City," he hoped.
This blood donation was chosen because after his party coordinated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Malang City, this is what has many benefits in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. "If there are people who need blood donors, hopefully it can contribute and be useful for people in need," he added.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, in his speech, said that celebrating the anniversary of Korpri with blood donation can be a moment to step forward and introspect to be improved and strengthened.
"We express our appreciation to the entire community, as well as PMI who work together with the Malang City Government. This shows our devotion to the country and the entire Malang City community," he said.
Mayor Sutiaji also emphasized that ASN should serve the nation and state, and look at each other and prepare their existence. This blood donation is a symbol of charity for all those in need.
"Because the blood we have given, to whom it will be donated we do not know. This is proof and our devotion to the country and hopefully this will be our strength," said the man who likes badminton.
The Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko and also ASNs were seen donating blood. In addition, the Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT and the heads of regional apparatuses at the Malang City Government were also present. (yon/ram)
