Kedungkandang, (malangkota.go.id) – Welcoming Christmas and New Year 2022, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) has made various preparations, one of which is the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji giving direction at the Kedungkandang District Leadership Coordination Forum, Tuesday (14/12/2021).
Mayor Sutiaji said that Malang City's success in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic so far cannot be separated from the cooperation of all elements in Malang City. Therefore, when welcoming Christmas and New Year 2022, Malang City continues to take various anticipations.
"This activity is one of them to anticipate various unwanted possibilities during Christmas and New Year 2022. We hope that Malang City remains conducive, safe, and comfortable. In addition, we also continue to appeal to always implement strict health protocols," explained Sutiaji.
Currently, Malang City has entered the Level 1 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). This should not make Malang City residents careless, they must always comply with health protocols. "We must learn from experience, so that Covid-19 does not spread again. We will collaborate with various parties related to Christmas and New Year. Hopefully there will be no spike in Covid-19 cases," said Sutiaji.
Through this activity, he said, his party continues to emphasize that all levels in Malang City continue to implement health protocols properly. Later, in Malang City there will be no more blockades and tourist attractions will start to open.
"We also discussed about Covid-19 vaccination for children. Later it will be given to children aged 6-11 years and will start next week," he concluded. (cah/ram)
