Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) Firli Bahuri

Firli Bahuri said the nation's founders had noble ideals that were realized in national goals. Advancing public welfare, educating the nation's life and participating in creating world peace based on independence, eternal peace and social justice.

"The noble ideals initiated by the nation's founders will be difficult to realize if there is still corruption in this country," explained Firli.

For that it is very important to do this activity, where the country will find it difficult to achieve its goals if there is still corruption in this country. According to him, it is difficult to achieve the country's goals if corruption still entangles and entangles all sectors of life.

"The future of the nation's children will be difficult to realize, smart Indonesia, prosperous Indonesia, advanced Indonesia, and proud Indonesia. It will be difficult to realize if corruption still exists. For that, the KPK in the plan that was made wrote a joint vision of the community to reduce corruption to realize an advanced Indonesia," he continued.

The sentence with the community means at least several ideas. First, preventing corruption through public education. Second, improving the system so that it does not become a loophole for corruption. Third, taking action against perpetrators of corruption to create a deterrent effect.

"This survey is a manifestation of openness and transparency which is the spirit of implementing democracy. In 2021, the KPK involved more than 255.000 respondents who filled out this survey. The hope is that it can make us proud as a product of the nation's children," he concluded.

The event, which was held in a hybrid manner, was also witnessed by the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) virtually from the Ngalam Command Center (NCC) of Malang City Hall. (cah/ram)
