Mayor Sutiaji said that the construction of these two projects was included in the 2021 regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD). So it is necessary to carry out a check considering that 2021 will soon end.

"For MCC, the progress has reached 55 percent and experienced a positive deviation of three percent from the plan, the remaining deficit is still 203 days. Hopefully it can be faster," he hoped.

Furthermore, after reviewing the progress of the Tlogomas Bridge construction, Sutiaji explained that the Tlogomas Bridge had been delayed, where the contract should have ended on December 28, 2021. "There was a delay because there was a flash flood some time ago. So it was hampered because of that," he explained.

"I hope the construction of these two projects can be completed in 2022. So that it can immediately provide benefits to the people of Malang City," he hoped again.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City, Ir. Diah Ayu Kusumadewi, MT, said that her party responded with the mechanism of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 77 of 2020 concerning Technical Guidelines for Regional Financial Management. Because the regulation has explained the procedures for completing work that exceeds the budget year.

"How do we do it? Yes, we request a review from the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP). Later, DPUPRPKP will request it from the Inspectorate. Then APIP will review the location and see how much progress there is. Later, a calculation will appear, how much we pay, then the rest will be allocated in 2022," said Diah.

According to him, it is clear that it will be the Budget Surplus (SILPA) in 2021. However, his party will reallocate it in the 2022 budget year. As for MCC, it has been targeted to be completed 100 percent on July 22, 2022. For 2021, it will complete the structure up to the eighth floor. In terms of progress in 2021, it has been good and has also been absorbed 100 percent or IDR 25 billion. So that later in 2022 the remaining contract budget will be IDR 73 billion.

"Let's pray together that these two projects can run smoothly. So that they can be utilized by the community immediately, as the Mayor of Malang wishes," said Diah.

Also present at the review of this mega project were the Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT and the Head of DPUPRPKP Malang City Ir. Diah Ayu Kusumadewi, MT. (yon/ram)
