Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – Civil servants (ASN) of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) received a booster dose of the vaccine at the Mini Block Office, Malang City Hall, Tuesday (18/1/2022). In addition to the elderly, ASN are also a priority in providing this vaccine.
To improve the immunity of public servants, the Malang City government is conducting booster vaccinations for all state civil servants (ASN). A total of 80 ASN within the Malang City government underwent the third stage of vaccination at the Mini Block Office, Malang City Hall, Tuesday (18/1/2022).
Head of the Malang City Health Office, Dr. Husnul Muarif, said that according to the direction of the Mayor of Malang, today 80 ASN of the Malang City Government were given booster doses of vaccination. The ASN consisted of heads of regional apparatuses, heads of departments, village heads, and sub-district heads.
"Booster vaccination is given to those who have undergone the first and second doses of vaccination," explained Dr. Husnul.
The provision of this vaccine, he said, is an effort to strengthen the immunity of ASN who often come into direct contact with the public. So ASN are required to be vaccinated first compared to the general public. The goal is so that the general public does not contract Covid-19 from these public servants.
"The recipients of this vaccine are those who have received their first and second vaccines within a six-month span. The types of vaccines are Pfizer and AstraZeneca," he continued. (cah/ram)
