Answering Public Questions, Dispendukcapil Invites to Chat Online

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City invites the public to have a dialogue in Dukcapil Menyapa Masyarakat (DMM) on Thursday (27/1/2022). This activity is an effort by Dispendukcapil to get closer to the community.

Head of Dispendukcapil Malang City Dra. Eny Hari Sutiarny, MM invites the public who have questions, problems, or opinions about population administration to convey their aspirations which will be answered directly in this activity.

"Please (go ahead), if you want to express your concerns so that there is a solution regarding civil rights from the community. Don't hesitate, because this is a means of friendship between Dispendukcapil and the community," said Eny.

Furthermore, Eny said that the community must have their civil rights, including population documents. She invited the community to be more active in taking care of these documents, especially since this process is free of charge. The Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office has also made various efforts to facilitate the community in taking care of their documents.

"I invite all Malang City residents to have population documents. If you already have them and there are changes in data, please update them immediately, such as family cards (KK), children's education can be updated, there is also blood type, at any time if needed it will be easier. We have officers in the sub-district, Public Service Mall (MPP), and in the office," he said.

Eny also socialized that currently all population documents, except for KTP and KIA, will be printed using 80 gram HVS paper in A4 size in white. This policy has been in effect since July 1, 2020 based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 109 of 2019 concerning Forms and Books Used in Population Administration.

"To check the authenticity of documents, the public can scan the QR Code on the electronic signature of the population document," he continued.

The interactive dialogue held online lasted almost an hour. For your information, this is the first session of DMM. The second session of DMM will be held on February 8, 2022 with the resource person being the Secretary of the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Service.

In this event, Malang residents were also active in asking questions and requesting solutions to various problems in managing their population administration. The questions were directly answered by the Head of the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office. (ari/ram)
