Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City in collaboration with Malang Town Square (Matos) held population administration services for residents, Saturday (29/1/2022). This population administration service began on 29-30 January 2022.
The activity held in the Matos hall aims to serve the community who want to take care of Child Identity Cards (KIA) and verify files for issuing birth certificates and death certificates.
"For cooperation with Matos, we will make it an annual routine agenda. Because for services in the office only during working hours and days, namely Monday to Friday. So we facilitate for the community who may work and can only take care of it on weekends," explained the Head of Population Registration, Drs. Gamaliel Raymond H., M.AP.
Raymond said that the public is very enthusiastic about the population administration services provided at shopping centers. Last year, the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Service also provided population administration services, right in December 2021.
"Last December, in two days we printed approximately 2.900 KIAs. However, this time it is limited to a maximum of 1.300 per day. Meanwhile, registration starts at 08.30 WIB to 12.00 WIB," he explained when met in Matos.
Meanwhile, Marketing Communication Manager Matos Rahayu Sasmitha said that his party was pleased to collaborate with the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Service to provide public services to the community.
"This is the second time Matos has collaborated with the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office. We hope to collaborate to provide convenience in public services. To be closer too. For malls, it can also increase traffic," he concluded. (ari/ram)
