Malang, malangkota.go.id – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Goods/Services Procurement Services Section held Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Drafting Contracts for Commitment Making Officers (PPK) or Contract Signing Officers at the Harris Hotel, Wednesday (2/2/2022).

Head of Procurement of Goods and Services Section Drs. R. Widjaja Saleh Putra revealed that procurement of goods and services by the government is an important part in implementing development and running effective government products. Therefore, procurement of goods and services must be regulated to be in accordance with expectations.
"Procurement of goods and services is part of realizing the development promise stated in the mayor's vision and mission. So failure to realize this procurement will have an impact on development achievements," Widjaja explained.
Through this activity, it is expected that procurement actors, namely budget users, authorized budget users (KPA), contract signing officials are expected to be able to create a more optimal draft of goods/services procurement contracts. Understanding the preparation of good procurement contracts will certainly improve the ability to implement regulations.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, invited the audience to always have the principle that working is for worship. "Don't be afraid, being careful is mandatory but you must not be afraid. Therefore, strengthen literacy. People are brave because they have a lot of discourse that what is said is true," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also invited the PPK to improve their professionalism and maintain integrity so that all work is carried out according to regulations. "Strengthen understanding of regulations and their updates. Also evaluate the work packages in 2021. Also complete the necessary administrative files, complete with documentation," he requested.
Impact-based measurement is also a point of emphasis conveyed by the mayor. In addition, procurement actors are asked to accelerate spending and always consult, and ask for assistance from the Goods/Services Procurement Service Section.
Mayor Suatiaji said that procurement of goods/services, especially in the Malang City Government environment, must always carry out risk management, strengthen the use of information and communication technology (ICT), strengthen small and medium enterprises (SMEs) or cooperatives, and accelerate the achievement of targets and economic recovery.
The technical guidance attended by 105 people from all regional apparatuses and work units was attended by Mustofa from the East Java Provincial Goods and Services Procurement Bureau as a resource person. (ari/ram)
