He asked the public who had to undergo isoman to remain disciplined. So that the space for the spread of cases can be narrowed. As of Wednesday (2/2/2022), the number of cases under monitoring in Malang City reached 340 cases. What is encouraging, he said, is that 201 cases have been declared cured in the last two weeks. Meanwhile, the death rate can be suppressed, so that throughout January 2022 only one case of death with comorbidities was recorded.

"The high vaccination rate in Malang City compared to other areas is very helpful in strengthening immunity and reducing the risk of worsening conditions of Covid-19 patients," he continued.

dr. Husnul Muarif added that the achievement includes child vaccination which has reached 90,20 percent for the first dose and 33,57 percent for the second dose as of February 2, 2022. Meanwhile, vaccination for the elderly has reached 73,48 percent for the first dose, 67,47 percent for the second dose, and 7,29 percent for further vaccination or booster.

"However, we urge the public to remain vigilant without panicking excessively. Continue to wear masks, avoid crowds, wash hands frequently, and immediately vaccinate those who are not yet complete," he concluded. (ndu/ram)
