Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) is one of the efforts of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) in realizing a participatory government system in order to realize prosperity and community satisfaction. Therefore, various elements of society involved in it should submit priority proposals in order to advance their areas, namely sub-districts and districts.

This was emphasized by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko when opening the Blimbing District Regional Apparatus Desk event which is a series of the 2022 Blimbing District Musrenbang in the local district office hall, Friday (4/2/2022).
The bespectacled man said that currently inflation in Malang City is 1,42 percent, the Human Development Index (HDI) is the second highest in East Java or 81,45 percent. The data shows a positive trend, so it must be maintained properly so that the development program runs optimally.
"The direction of Malang City's policy since 2019, during the leadership of Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji and Malang Deputy Mayor Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, began with infrastructure improvements," he explained.
The man who is often called Bung Edi added that after 2019, his party has continued to push various improvement efforts until now, such as infrastructure, social independence, economy, social, culture, health and education.
"All of that requires synergy and support from all parties including elements of society. Because if we only rely on the government, the results will not be optimal," he continued.
Meanwhile, the performance challenges in 2023, explained the number two person in the Malang City Government, include accelerating the achievement of the final target of the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD), resolving city problems, handling the pandemic and economic recovery. In this event, Bung Edi also reminded the public to always be vigilant considering that extreme weather can still occur at any time.
Likewise, regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the public should continue to implement strict health protocols, especially with the presence of the Omicron variant. Where in the last few days, the Covid-19 cases in Malang City have fluctuated.
"Even though you have been vaccinated, you should remain vigilant and until now the only effective effort to suppress the transmission of the virus is to be disciplined in implementing health protocols," he appealed.
Meanwhile, regarding the 2023 priority plan, Bung Edi said that it includes the fields of health, education, economy, finance, health, social, technology, environment and infrastructure.
"Before various proposals from the village level are submitted to the sub-district and later to the city level, the village head and sub-district head should be more intense and selective, so that what is proposed is truly for the welfare of the community," he stressed.
The statement was agreed by Blimbing Sub-district Head Aryadi Wardoyo, S.TP., M.Si. According to him, so far various stages, such as collecting community aspirations from the RT and RW levels have been carried out well, including involving DPRD members from the Blimbing Sub-district electoral district (Dapil).
"From 11 sub-districts in Blimbing District and added from regional apparatus, from the results of the musrenbang at the sub-district level there are 857 priority proposals. The cost or budget that will be submitted is IDR 79.971.391.562,00. While the budget for the main idea cost (pokir) is IDR 3.646.285,00.
