Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Monitoring of the construction of the Malang Creative Center (MCC) in Malang City continues to be carried out by the Malang City Government (Pemkot). This is done so that the construction of the MCC can run well and without obstacles.
This time, Malang Deputy Mayor Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko when reviewing the construction of the MCC in Kedungkandang, Tuesday (22/2/2022) said that his party wanted to see firsthand the progress of the MCC construction. From this monitoring, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko said that the construction of the MCC had reached 65 percent.
"It is estimated that in five months the MCC will be completed. We hope that when the building is finished, there will be activities immediately," explained Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname.
Bung Edi hopes that MCC will not only be good and sturdy, but its existence will truly be a container for the creative spirit of the Malang youth. For that, even though the building is not yet finished, planning for what will be filled in MCC later must have been done.
"Related regional apparatus, communities, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that will be active in MCC must be ready to operate. For that, support must be done now," he explained.
According to him, the Malang City Government also continues to work on and formulate how the MCC operations will run well. The hope is that when the building is standing, operations can be carried out immediately.
"The existence of MCC is very important as a symbol and the pulse of creativity of Malang people. MCC strongly supports the implementation of Malang as a creative city," he concluded. (cah/ram)
