After inaugurating the communal IPAL on Sunday (13/3/2022), the bespectacled man conveyed many messages to local residents. Such as those related to management, disposal and quick handling when problems occur. The target for this IPAL will be 75 house connections (SR) and currently there are 53 SR.

The man who is often called Bung Edi gave an example, for example, if one day there is a blockage in the channel. Then it must be resolved immediately and quickly. "So that this does not happen, residents should not throw garbage into the wastewater channel that comes from each household," he advised.

Likewise, regarding financing or when funds are needed, it must involve residents and various elements of society. "The existence of communal IPAL like this must be in the middle of densely populated residential areas in order to reduce air and water pollution," explained Bung Edi.

If this communal IPAL facility is already there, he said, then the surrounding environment and the community's lifestyle will be even better. "The community will be more aware of how important cleanliness is which will ultimately improve public health," he explained.

The existence of this communal IPAL, explained Bung Edi, must also be supported by a beautiful environment and sufficient oxygen. Therefore, the greening program must also be carried out continuously. "Sometimes I will donate seeds or trees for greening," he concluded. (say/ram)
