Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) launched the Sam Gepun Basa application or Smart City Malang, a Dasawisma-Based Data Collection Movement initiated by the Malang City PKK TP at the Savana Hotel, Thursday (17/3/2022).
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said, Sam Gepun Basa is an innovative application from TP PKK Malang City to support the development and implementation of smart cities. This is by strengthening the role of dasawisma in collecting real data from the community, as well as contributing to providing data for the formulation of strategic policies.
Sutiaji also expressed his appreciation to all members of the Malang City PKK TP from all levels. Where they continue to provide support for what is the commitment of the Malang City Government in providing the best service to the community.
"We also give our appreciation to HM Sampoerna, because of its concern in distributing corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds which are certainly very useful," said Sutiaji.
Data issues, said Sutiaji, are very important in determining a policy. So the availability, accuracy, and governance of data are classic problems that must be fixed. Because data is very important as a foundation for determining the direction and implementation of development.
"Sam Gepun Basa is the fruit of thinking in building data for development, there must be a collaborative role of the government with community institutions as part of the hexa helix synergy," he continued.
Mayor Sutiaji also gave direction to continue to improve the capacity of cadres, prepare governance, and optimize supporting infrastructure. In addition, strengthen synergy with universities and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), including establishing good communication with other hexa helix elements.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati Sutiaji, said that the PKK TP as a working partner of the Malang City Government always strives to organize itself and improve the quality of its performance to be more professional by utilizing all available resources.
"With structured membership, starting from the city level to the smallest level, namely the dasawisma, TP PKK is committed to collaborating in obtaining real data from the community through the Sam Gepun Basa application," explained Widayati.
However, he said, collecting real data from the community is not easy. It takes time, energy, and considerable resources, so acceleration is needed from all existing stakeholders. In this case, the direct partners are the Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning Service (Dinsos DP3AP2KB) of Malang City as the task force, and the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) of Malang City in providing the application system, as well as providing basic data based on NIK from all regional devices.
"The Sam Gepun Basa application will record the condition of families in Malang City and will continue to update family data. In order to update data effectively, admin officers have been appointed at the sub-district, district, and city levels as data entry officers into the application. These admin officers will not only work, but will also receive appreciation in the form of honorariums," he explained.
On this occasion, CSR from PT HM Sampoerna was also handed over in the form of 75 tablets for admins, both at the sub-district, district, and city levels. This assistance is very meaningful for all Sam Gepun Basa application admins, considering the large amount of data that must be updated.
In addition to the admin, he said, if the wider community is also given space to enter data directly through the Sam Gepun Basa application by entering the population registration number (NIK). Thus, TP PKK through this application can present data reports to the Malang City Government as supporting data for making a policy.
The launch of Sam Gepun Basa was carried out by the Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, together with the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati Sutiaji, accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT. (yon/ram)
