KSP Moeldoko Inaugurates ITN PLTS, Bung Edi: We Are Ready to Help

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko appreciated various innovations, especially appropriate innovations developed by the National Institute of Technology (ITN) Malang which are intended and will be developed to help the community. Such as the solar power plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 0,5 MWp/500 KWp, which was inaugurated by the Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) General TNI (ret.) Dr. H. Moeldoko, S.IP on Wednesday (23/3/2022) at the local campus.

Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko accompanied the Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) General TNI (ret.) Dr. H. Moeldoko, S.IP in a series of inauguration of the ITN Malang PLTS.

According to Deputy Mayor Edi, the innovation is a new breakthrough that is indeed worthy of being developed, because it will save the use of electricity sourced from PLN, especially on this ITN campus. "In the future, we hope that this PLTS can be utilized by the community, especially in Malang Raya or in other areas with minimal electricity supply," he added.

The man who is often called Bung Edi added that his party admitted that they were ready if needed to help develop a number of innovations at ITN, especially PLTS. "In accordance with what Mr. Moeldoko said, if the development of this appropriate innovation can involve the local government, then we are ready," he continued. 

In the future, the bespectacled man continued, all universities in Malang are expected to compete to produce innovations in various fields. Such as planting rice, fertilizing plants using special tools and so on. "Thus, the community can better utilize and feel the existence of educational institutions, especially higher education in their lives," he explained.

Appreciation was also conveyed by KSP Moeldoko for the innovation at ITN and at this moment the campus signed a cooperation agreement to develop a number of innovations, especially PLTS. "We are very proud of what this campus has developed, and in the future, various innovations should not only be in the laboratory but be utilized for the community," he appealed.

Furthermore, the former TNI Commander said that Indonesia's human resources have good capabilities and are supported by abundant natural resources. "From this condition, whatever innovation will be developed, of course with great will, it will definitely be realized well. So that in the future Indonesia will be more competitive at the international level," concluded Moeldoko. (say/ram)
