Lowokwaru, (malangkota.go.id) – As it grows older, the Islamic University of Malang (Unisma) continues to improve the quality of education in order to meet the needs of the times. In its 41st Dies Natalis, Unisma is in the process of becoming a world-class campus.

Unisma Rector Prof. Dr. Maskuri, M.Si revealed that at the age of 41, Unisma continues to process to realize an adaptive and productive attitude to develop culture and civilization towards a world class university. To that end, Unisma continues to improve the quality of education in the campus environment through various programs.
"Unisma also always supports government programs, especially those related to development innovation to meet community needs," explained Maskuri, Sunday (27/3/2022).
Maskuri added, Unisma as a top university in Indonesia always tries to support and develop strategic government policies. Especially those directly related to development innovations. "Through the Merdeka Belajar program, Unisma's independent campus participation is realized in the student program," explained Maskuri.
Through student entrepreneurship activities, holistic village development and empowerment programs, village entrepreneur programs, student exchange programs, and campus teaching programs. These programs are Unisma's real efforts to make real contributions to advancing Indonesia.
Various efforts are also continuously made by Unisma to make changes and leaps in the results of campus work that are presented for the development of culture and civilization. The principle of Unisma from NU for Indonesia and world civilization towards a world class university.
"We have a milestone at the research university level, in 2023 Unisma will enter the entrepreneurial university and in 2027 Unisma will beat the drum as a world class university," said Maskuri.
Meanwhile, Indonesian Vice President KH. Maruf Amin who attended virtually said that the government is currently continuing to accelerate the national digital transformation. The supporting priority is the development of comprehensive and sustainable human resources (HR).
"As a higher education institution, Unisma must be able to adapt to produce human resources with high digital literacy," said Ma'ruf Amin.
In the era of adaptive digital transformation, it has become a must. Unisma must be able to take advantage of the opportunities created by the technological revolution. Make it a vehicle for institutional progress.
Ma'ruf Amin also encouraged Unisma to expand its institutional network, both with domestic and foreign institutions. To that end, this Islamic campus in Malang City must continue to build collaborations both at the national and international levels.
Maruf Amin also welcomed Unisma's vision of becoming a world-class university. This is a noble ideal that requires hard work to realize.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his appreciation to Unisma for its role in the development of Malang City. According to him, development in Malang City cannot be separated from the role of universities as government partners.
