Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Entering the month of Ramadan, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, invited all state civil servants (ASN) within the Malang City Government (Pemkot) to continue to improve their performance in serving the community. He conveyed this while leading the morning assembly in the yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (4/4/2022).
According to him, fasting is not an obstacle to improving performance, but rather an opportunity to be more productive in carrying out each task. "Let's strengthen, in the month of Ramadan is not a reason to be lazy, but more enthusiastic and enthusiastic. So work hard, work, and work," he said.
Mayor Sutiaji also symbolically handed over the decree (SK) for the promotion of 532 civil servants (PNS) of Malang City. He hopes that with the symbolic handover of this promotion, the quality of Malang City Government's service to the community will improve day by day.
"Hopefully it can improve the quality of our services, so that it can be more optimal. Because we are required to be more professional, to be better. So work and work," he explained.
In his direction, Sutiaji also expressed his appreciation for the three national awards received by the Malang City Government. The awards are the 2022 PR Indonesia Award (PRIA) through the Communication and Informatics Office for the management of the best national profile video in the City/Regency Government category, the 2022 Digital Innovation Award (DIA) for the Sam Gepun Basa application which is a collaborative innovation with the Malang City PKK TP in synergy with the Malang City Government which can be a contributor and update data, and the Smart Mobility award.
"Various awards are not the main thing, because those who feel the impact and are the main priority are the satisfaction of the community. So, the spirit needs to continue to improve and improve because there is still a lot of work. Be sensitive and responsive, but still obey the procedures and mechanisms," he said.
He added that the progress of Malang City is not because of its regional head. But because of the support of all parties. So he hopes that Malang for Indonesia and the world can be extraordinary.
"This is a reward, because our hard work, hopefully it will be a spur to work even better. I say thank you because all of that can be done, for the work of all of you and the community. This is a gift for the 108th Anniversary of Malang City," he concluded.
The morning assembly was continued with a coordination meeting and socialization of Malang Mayor Regulation Number 2 of 2022 concerning Additional Income for Civil Servants within the Malang City Government for the 2022 Fiscal Year. (eka/ram)
