Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji accompanied the Deputy Chief of East Java Police Brigadier General Pol. Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo to review the implementation of simultaneous vaccination at the Malang Health Polytechnic (Polkesma) on Jalan Besar Ijen, Thursday (7/4/2022).

The implementation of this event was also attended by the Chief of Police, General Pol. Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si virtually who also instructed that vaccinations continue to be intensified, especially ahead of the Eid homecoming.
The same thing was conveyed by the Deputy Chief of East Java Police, who also invited residents who have not been vaccinated, especially the second and third doses (booster) to immediately undergo vaccination. Thus, it will help reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.
"This pandemic is not over yet, so let's remain disciplined in implementing health protocols," he added.
For Malang City, the Deputy Chief of Police explained, the implementation of vaccination has been quite good and vaccination for the elderly still needs to be improved. Where so far the achievement is around 70 percent. "Likewise for the third dose of vaccine, so that ahead of this year's Eid homecoming, even greater group immunity has been realized," he continued.
Meanwhile, Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said that in line with the orders of the Chief of Police, he will continue to intensify the second and third dose vaccinations, especially for the elderly. The number one person in the Malang City Government also asked the public not to ignore health protocols, even though Covid-19 cases are starting to subside.
"Let's remain disciplined in implementing health protocols, because this pandemic is not over yet," he appealed.
The bespectacled man also advised that when going home for Eid, we must continue to implement health protocols. So that this virus does not continue to spread or even bring the virus to family circles.
Even though you have been vaccinated, he said, health protocols must still be carried out properly. This method is the safest way for someone not to be easily exposed to Covid-19. "By always wearing a mask, we will protect ourselves and others from the threat of this deadly virus. By being disciplined together, we can be sure that this pandemic will end soon," he concluded.
