Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) has successfully entered the third or final stage of the 2022 Regional Development Awards (PPD) series by the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas).
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji gave his appreciation and said that the Malang City Government had gone through stages. So that it entered this stage, namely verification carried out online and offline at the Mini Block Office building, 4th Floor, Monday (11/4/2022).
The verification stage is the final stage after the two previous stages, namely the assessment of the regional government work plan (RKPD) document and presentations and interviews. The purpose of the verification stage is to confirm and explore more in-depth information from the perspective of other stakeholders, outside Bappeda, regarding the planning and implementation process of development in the region related to the process of preparing the 2021 RKPD process, achieving regional development targets, and development innovations that are developed.
"We have gone through stages until now. This verification stage is a direct review, whether what was presented in the previous stage is true or not. Thank you for your presence, both in person and online. This is our commitment," said Sutiaji.
Furthermore, Sutiaji said, Malang City Government belongs to the community, so all policies return to the community. Including what is stated in the RKPD and others are aspirations from the community. There are various doors for the community to convey their aspirations, such as through the development planning meeting (musrenbang) which can accommodate community aspirations from the smallest RT/RW level to the city level.
"Then there are thematic musrenbang for children, youth, women, disabilities, the elderly and corporate social responsibility forums. Economic acceleration continues to be strengthened. Synergy, collaboration, and communication with various lines also continue to be strengthened. Because Malang City is currently hexa helix. Related to the auction of procurement of goods and services using local catalogs so that the hope is that the gini ratio will be better," he explained.
Meanwhile, regarding unemployment, Sutiaji continued, currently the Malang City Government has the Job Fair Active application. The application not only makes it easier for job seekers and providers, but will also provide education and skills to the unemployed. "This is part of the process, we are currently verifying it, hopefully it is linear. God willing, our program is sustainable because it involves everyone. Every time we participate in an event, this is a learning process with the hope that we will be better in the future," he added.
The aspects and indicators of assessment in the stages of PPD 2022 are development achievements, the process of preparing RKPD documents, and innovation. This verification stage will be continued with the field verification stage which will be carried out on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Also present on this occasion were the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD I Made Riandiana Kartika, the Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT, heads of regional apparatus related to planning and achievement in the Malang City Government environment, as well as development stakeholders between the community, academics, non-governmental organizations, representatives of the business world, representatives of vulnerable groups such as women and people with disabilities, the media, innovation implementers, and beneficiaries of innovation.
