Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko attended the Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD regarding the Submission of Faction Opinions on the Mayor's Accountability Report (LKPJ) for the 2021 Fiscal Year at the local DPRD building, Wednesday (13/4/2022).
Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, expressed his gratitude for the input from the Malang City DPRD regarding the mayor's LKPJ for the 2021 fiscal year. All findings from the factions will be followed up immediately for implementation in 2022.
"That's a finding from 2021. Things that have been programmed in 2022 must answer all those notes," said Bung Edi.
In handling floods and potholes, he said, the Malang City Government continues to strive through masterplans and budgeting. Road repairs due to incidental funds of Rp3,8 billion have been used up.
"We took the steps we needed to repeat. The government will definitely respond and follow up on what the factions have conveyed," he explained.
DPRD member from the PKB faction, Arif Wahyudi, revealed that there were several notes for the Malang City Government regarding the 2021 mayoral LKPJ, including handling potholes and puddles that currently still occur frequently.
"In addition, the completion of the construction of Blimbing Market, Gadang Market, and Malang City's Big Market are still homework. Likewise, the obstacles to the Madyopuro toll road on Jalan Ki Ageng Gribig," he said.
There is also the issue of the car wash area on Jalan Kiai Ageng Gribig which has continued to drag on until now. Likewise, the issue of the construction of the Islamic Center building which had collapsed on the ceiling was also noted.
Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairman I Made Riandiana Kartikan said that this activity is a series of LKPJ whose rules are clear. Furthermore, a discussion will be carried out by a special committee (pansus) which means that a plenary session will be held again on April 20, 2022.
"We have seen the faction's criticism of the classic problem. This means that from the beginning we always answer and remind of the same mistakes," explained Made.
Made added, as representatives of the people, the DPRD has the authority and reminds the performance of the Malang City Government. This is done so that the Malang City Government works optimally for the comfort of the people of Malang City.
"We can only remind and budget. Later the remaining budget surplus (Silpa) will be visible," said Made. (cah/ram)
