Starfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – I'anatut Tholibin Islamic Boarding School held a Nuzulul Quran commemoration on Monday (18/4/2022). Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of Malang City Drs. Mulyono, M.Si was present representing the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji.
Mulyono said that the Nuzulul Quran commemoration could be a reminder to declare that Allah SWT is the only one worthy of worship. The Quran is a guide and bringer of salvation that must be held firmly by humans.
“The Koran is the source of all legal sources from which we will gain many insights. The Koran is not only formed from a series of verses. "The revelation of the Al-Quran invites humans to be iqra', iqra', and iqra'," he said.
"With the Quran, it will broaden our horizons and make us wiser and not fickle, because it has a very strong foundation," Mulyono emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Head of I'anatut Tholibin Islamic Boarding School, KH. Saifudin Zuhri expressed his gratitude because in 2022 he was still given the opportunity to meet the month of Ramadan. This moment is very important to again be grateful for Allah's extraordinary blessings by still being given health, abundant sustenance and living in Indonesia.
"Currently, it is very important to strengthen the provision of national character education and love for the Indonesian nation," explained Saifudin.
As time progresses, many young generations get ideologies from outside that are incorrect and very dangerous. For that reason, on this occasion, he invited the public to continue to love the Republic of Indonesia, maintain Pancasila, and maintain diversity.
"Especially NU members, hold fast to the national agreement that the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is non-negotiable," explained Syaifudin.
Syaifudin also told how the ancestor of Muslims, Prophet Ibrahim AS, prayed to Allah to make this country a safe country. Give the people an abundance of sustenance with fruit, not asking for an Islamic country, not asking for a caliphate country.
"What is the point of forcing a corrupt caliphate state like Syria, Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq," Saifudin stressed.
The issues of the caliphate could violate the national agreement, it could be a curse for the fighters who designed the NKRI, which is non-negotiable, who designed Pancasila, who designed the 1945 Constitution, who designed Bhineka Tunggal Ika.
"That was a long asceticism under colonization for 350 years, how many saints died as sacrifices for independence, how many ulama became sacrifices for independence," explained Saifudin.
Syaifudin added, Indonesia is a very pleasant country, Muslims never have any obstacles to practice Islamic law. From Sabang to Merauke, thousands of Islamic boarding schools can be established, there is no prohibition on building mosques.
"We hold religious studies on the side of the road, it's okay. Try holding religious studies on the side of the road in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, it won't be possible," said Syaifudin. (cah/ram)
