Collaboration of Malang City Government and Companies in the UMKM Bazaar

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government in collaboration with PT. Pos Properti Indonesia and Grab Indonesia held a kick-off event for the Poin Market Bazaar for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) and also the Cheap Grocery Market at the Malang Indonesian Post Office, Friday (22/4/2022).

The event was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko symbolically by beating the tambourine with his wife Elly Estiningtyas, Human Resources Manager of PT. Pos Indonesia Malang Taufik, and Business Operation Manager of Greater East Java Achmad Fery Hardianto.

Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, appreciated the company's move to distribute cooking oil subsidy assistance to people in need. "Thank you to PT. Pos Indonesia which continues to help distribute cooking oil subsidy assistance to the people of Malang City. So that almost 20.000 people have received the benefits of this assistance," he said.

Meanwhile, Taufik said that PT. Pos Indonesia through its subsidiary PT. Pos Properti Indonesia provides this activity and specifically for MSMEs. The main goal is to improve the economy in Malang City.

This was agreed by Grab Malang City Manager Achmad Feri Hardianto. He said that Grab Indonesia is grateful to PT. Pos Indonesia for inviting Grab to collaborate in this activity. "Grab Indonesia has the same mission, where we focus and are committed to helping accelerate economic growth after Covid-19," he said.

In this event, Bung Edi also reviewed the implementation of booster vaccinations carried out at the same location. A total of 750 vaccines were prepared in this event, and are expected to help meet the 30% target for achieving vaccine acceptance in the community.

At this event, donations were also distributed to a number of orphans, and a group of Grab Indonesia partners were released to distribute 1.000 takjil to the community at several points in Malang City. (ayu/ram)
