Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Starting from a hobby of making personal bags for her own collection, Noor Anggarini Ardiyogi developed her hobby into a business opportunity with the brand Illnand Collection by UB Yogi Family. Through her hobby, Noor makes bags using materials and models according to her wishes. Her products and works are one of the potentials that strengthen the creative economy in Malang City.
"Initially from a hobby of making bags for collection and personal use, it turned out that when used, many people asked. Finally, I made it to accept orders. The goal is to improve the family's economy," said Noor, Sunday (24/4/2022).
Noor added, if there are many orders, he invites and employs housewives in the area, who do not have jobs and want to work. By empowering housewives, he hopes to be able to help improve their economy.
"We produce bags, wallets and souvenirs made of fabric, which makes my products unique. The models and materials are adjusted to the consumer's wishes, and we provide a guarantee as long as it can still be repaired," he explained.
She admitted that customers and buyers of her work come from within the city and even outside the city. To expand the marketing reach, in addition to social media Instagram and Facebook @nooranggarini, her products can also be ordered through the website Malanggleerrr.com. "Our products are 100% handmade, usually I make them using a small black sewing machine. For the processing time, we look at the model and complexity, and also consider the deadline of the consumer. For hajatan bags or tote bags without zippers, usually in a day we can finish under 50 pieces," said Noor.
In the future, he hopes that his products will have more enthusiasts and buyers. Because his products have affordable prices and quality, and can be relied on. Various events such as exhibitions such as in Malang City, Surabaya, and Jakarta have been attended.
