Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The work plan (renja) prepared by each regional apparatus to achieve the 2023 development target was tested in depth before the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji together with the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko and a team of experts from academic circles at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel, Tuesday (26/4/2022).
"The emphasis of the program must be felt by the people. What is included in the RKPD needs to be rationalized. How is the rationalization, namely in accordance with the commitments stated in the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD) and performance auction. So building a commitment," explained Sutiaji.
The number one person in the Malang City Government emphasized the need for rationalization in improving the planning of the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD). So that it can optimize the use of its programs for the community, right on target, effective and efficient, provide added value, and improve public services. In addition, exploring potential if there is a program that lacks budget, from where it is filtered.
Regarding the involvement of academics in activities, Sutiaji emphasized that this is very important so that the perspective of the Malang City Government bureaucracy is increasingly open and rich in scientific and knowledge developments, both macro governance and specific to each strategic issue that is a development challenge.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Malang City, Dwi Rahayu, SH., M.Hum explained that the preparation of the RKPD is targeted to be included in the final draft in April.
"In order for the RKPD to be right, the regional apparatus plan must be presented in front of the Mayor of Malang, Deputy Mayor of Malang, and the Regional Secretary of Malang City. Each regional apparatus presents it so that they know whether the budget that has been prepared by the regional apparatus is really in accordance with the target achievement in the RPJMD," explained Dwi.
In accordance with the direction of the Mayor of Malang, various programs of the Malang City Government must touch the community, and provide added value to the achievement of the main performance indicators (IKU) that have been prepared in the 2023 RPJMD. The strategic issues that are a priority include strengthening the community's economy, handling floods and repairing potholes, and reducing the open unemployment rate in Malang City.
"The hope is that the Malang Creative Center can reduce unemployment rates, so it must be activated immediately," he continued.
The Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) of Malang City, he said, has conducted studies on how its operations will be so that its benefits can be felt optimally. The process is after being presented and the regional apparatus work plan is completed.
"The final draft of the RKPD will be sent to the province for evaluation. After the RKPD is determined by the province, the Malang City RKPD document is also determined. The target is June, because the process is long so we also have to do accelerations," he concluded. (eka/ram)
