Eid Holiday, Health Facilities and Health Workers Remain on Alert

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah/2022 AD, the Malang City Health Office (Dinkes) ensures that health services for the community continue to run well despite the long holiday. In order to implement health services, the Health Office continues to prepare health facilities, namely the Emergency Room, health centers, and hospitals to remain open during the Eid holiday.

"We also assign people to be on standby at each health center and also at the post, namely at Suhat Bridge, Borobudur Intersection, Madyopuro Toll Exit, Sulfat Intersection, Ex Mitra 1, Arjosari Terminal, and West Kacuk Intersection, as well as Kota Baru Station Posyan. The post that was strengthened was at Kota Baru Station because there are rapid antigen test and vaccination services," explained the Secretary of the Malang City Health Office, dr. Umar Usman.

For your information, domestic travelers who have received the first dose of the vaccine must show a negative PCR test result 3×24 hours. Furthermore, those who have received the second dose of the vaccine must show a negative antigen test result 1×24 hours or PCR 3×24 hours.

Those who have received a booster vaccine do not need to show a negative Covid-19 test result. Therefore, the Health Office recommends that prospective travelers have received doses 1, 2, and 3 of the vaccine.

The health workers on standby at these posts come from hospitals, clinics, health centers, PMI, and also PSC. Health workers will be on standby for 24 hours from April 28 to May 9, 2022, as well as ambulances will be on standby during that time.

The Health Office also appealed to the public to immediately contact PSC 119 if they experience an emergency on the road. Meanwhile, if a minor emergency occurs around the post, it will be handled by health workers (nakes) who are on standby and if the symptoms are severe, they will be referred directly to Syaiful Anwar Hospital.

Furthermore, Dr. Umar also appealed to the public to remain vigilant about the transmission of Covid-19. Travelers must have received the second dose of the vaccine and are expected to have had a booster. In addition, the public must implement health protocols during the trip, implement health protocols at the destination, such as when gathering with family and friends.
