Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) held the first morning assembly after the Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijri holiday in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (9/5/2022). The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, who acted as the assembly leader, in his direction asked all levels of the Malang City Government to use the post-Ramadan momentum to improve service performance to the community.

"Sincere devotion to Allah SWT through public service to the community may hopefully become a mustard seed, an atom that makes a record of goodness. Syawal is the month of improvement. The less good becomes good, the good becomes even better," said Sutiaji.
Regarding discourse work from home (WFH) which is one of the strategies to break up traffic jams during the return flow, Sutiaji explained that the Malang City Government in principle will continue to use the scheme Work From Office (WFO).
The conducive Covid-19 situation in Malang City, which currently has five active cases and a vaccination rate of boost ASN that has reached 100 percent is also a consideration for optimism that the WFO scheme can run. ASN Malang City Government also today still comes to the office according to schedule for optimal service.
"Two years ago our work was affected by Covid-19, so of course the momentum is conducive and good now we will push to pursue the target. For that, it requires optimal ASN performance," he explained.
According to Sutiaji, exceptions will be given conditionally to ASN who experience urgent factors such as illness with the permission of the head of each work unit.
After the roll call, Malang Mayor Sutiaji accompanied by the Chairwoman of the Malang City PKK TP and Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi Jarwoko along with the Deputy Chairwoman I of the Malang City PKK TP conducted halalbihalal with all levels of regional apparatus leaders, echelon II and III officials, as well as some functional officials and staff in the Malang City Hall environment. Halalbihalal took place warmly and was held briefly, simply and still implemented health protocols. (ndu/yon)
