This condition is divided into two types based on the duration of inflammation, namely acute hepatitis and chronic hepatitis.
The term acute hepatitis is used for hepatitis that resolves in less than six months. If the inflammation occurs more than that time, the disease is classified as chronic and can cause other health problems, such as cirrhosis, liver cancer, or liver failure.
Regarding this, Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said on Tuesday (10/5/2022) that currently in Malang City there are no or no detected attacks and infected people. "From information from the Head of the Health Service, there are none, and hopefully there will be none. However, we remain vigilant," he said.

In addition, anticipation and socialization are also carried out in schools and health centers so that the community is more alert.
For preventive measures, Sutiaji explained, it is not much different from other virus or disease attacks, namely always maintaining cleanliness, living a healthy lifestyle and consuming nutritious food. "We urge the public not to panic but to remain vigilant," he concluded.
