Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji continues to strengthen his commitment to pay attention to the welfare of honorary teachers in Malang City, namely Non-Permanent Teachers (GTT) and Non-Permanent Employees (PTT).
In the midst of the peak activities of the 2022 National Education Day commemoration as well as the halalbihalal event with the ranks of teachers and principals of elementary schools (SD), junior high schools (SMP) and PAUD at the Islamic Center Building, Wednesday (18/5/2022), his party continued to provide motivation and encourage GTT to be appointed as Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K).
"In accordance with our theme, we package it from two sides, one is strengthening independent learning. Second, we are still in the month of Syawal, so we sterilize our hearts before we transfer knowledge and skills to children. Moreover, this must be given a warm-up because PPDB will be coming soon. So now what we are strengthening is independent learning, namely independence in children, learning resources and teaching materials are not limited to the classroom," explained Sutiaji.
According to him, this was done together while strengthening the potential, especially of educators in this case teachers. He said that teachers who used to be mostly GTT have now advanced to P3K. The commitment to teacher welfare including GTT and PTT is one of the commitments of the Mayor of Malang for education.
"Earlier we compared an example, there are teachers who only get 50 thousand PAUD per month. Others whose salaries reach Rp2-3 million must be able to see that sincerely when they teach. Regarding honorary teachers, God willing, we will propose it because it is our proposal. The priority to enter PPPK is GTT. There are still some who have not entered, hopefully we will strengthen it further. Earlier there were some who did not have a formation, that was in PTT, the GTT earlier there were those who had not been formed for 2-3 times, that is what we will encourage. This year there are 1.211 in Malang City," explained the bespectacled man.
On that occasion, in addition to socializing and sharing, Sutiaji also gave appreciation and motivation to all the teachers present. Because teachers are the driving force of independent learning who educate children, the golden generation of the nation's successors.
