Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government has again received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the Performance Audit Report on the 2021 Regional Government Financial Report from the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK). With this WTP, Malang City has received WTP 11 times in a row.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, received the report from the Head of the BPK RI Representative Office for East Java Province, Joko Agus Setyono, at the BPK RI Representative Office for East Java Province, Sidoarjo (19/5/2022).
"Malang City Government will continue to maintain this predicate by improving performance with transparency and accountability in regional financial reporting," said Sutiaji.
Achieving 11 WTP predicates for Mayor Sutiaji is a form of joint commitment between all elements in the Malang City Government. For him, this achievement was not easy to achieve, many indicators must be met to maintain the predicate.
"The audit activities carried out by the BPK team have been welcomed openly. The Malang City Government has always been cooperative in order to expedite the audit process," he added.
Sutiaji explained that the Malang City Government fully understands that the audit conducted by the BPK team is running professionally and independently, and provides constructive recommendations. (public relations/ram)
