Don't let there be any unrest in the community and if there are individuals who play, they can be dealt with firmly. Because, until now the problem of cooking oil is still haunting the community. When the price is stable, sometimes the stock is not there and even vice versa.

In this event, the Malang City Government participated in the event virtually from the Ngalam Command Center (NCC) of Malang City Hall. Present were the Secretary of Diskopindag Slamet Husnan Hariyadi and his staff to represent the Mayor of Malang and the Head of Diskoperindag.

According to Slamet, the condition of subsidized bulk cooking oil in Malang City is the same as other areas in East Java. "The availability is still adequate, but the price is still fluctuating and in some markets selling it is not the same, although it is still within the reasonable threshold. The highest retail price is currently IDR 14.000 per liter. If traders sell it at a price of IDR 15.000-IDR 17.000, it is still reasonable," he said.

Slamet added that his party continues to monitor the market so that there is no unrest in the community. "So far in Malang City it is still conducive and we continue to coordinate with related parties, such as distributors and the East Java Provincial Government," he added.

When asked whether market operations would be carried out in the near future, Slamet said it was not too urgent. "If there is an increase beyond the limit and will trigger unrest in society, we are ready to hold market operations," he concluded. (say/ram)
