Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – To create a safe and conducive Malang City amidst diversity, the Malang City National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) held a coordination meeting with the Interfaith Communication Forum (FKUB) and the National Integration Forum (FPK) at the office, Monday (30/5/2022).
Head of Wasbang Bakesbangpol Malang City Sukristiono revealed, while it is still in the month of Syawal, Bakesbangpol held a coordination meeting with FKUB and FPK. This activity is also a halalbihalal in the month of Syawal to continue to strengthen friendship.
"FKUB and FPK are partners who are the backbone for us in advancing Malang City. FKUB is related to religion while FKP is related to ethnicity and race," explained Sukristiono.
From this activity, Bakesbangpol can share with each other to create a conducive situation in Malang City.
The Head of the FKUB of Malang City, Taufik Kusuma, said that the halalbihalal activity had existed since Indonesia was in the era of President Soekarno's government in 1948. At that time, to revive the commitment to the nation and state which was sluggish, the halalbihalal activity was initiated.
"Figures in Indonesia such as KH Wahid Hasyim, Wahab Hasbullah, from Muhammadiyah together with the president at that time initiated halalbihalal," said Taufik.
Halalbihalal is a silaturahim, meaning sila is sambung rahim, the meaning is let's continue a very close relationship like siblings. Halalbihalal is usually symbolized by ketupat.
"Where humans and rice are in line have similar characters. Where if rice is placed in a sack if it is punched, then its weight will be scattered," said Taufik.
By being put in ketupat and cooked, so that it becomes very tight and inseparable. Likewise, the unity of the Indonesian nation should also be like that, it must be truly united and inseparable.
The Head of FKP Malang City Ade Syarif Hidayatullah is pleased with this activity. Because it can get closer to FKUB and the Malang City Government. From various study tours conducted so far to various regions in Indonesia, it is very important to build the nation.
