Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The explanation of the Mayor of Malang regarding the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) concerning the Accountability of the Implementation of the 2021 Fiscal Year APBD, was conveyed by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko at the plenary meeting of the Malang City DPRD, Thursday (9/6/2022). At this plenary session, it was conveyed according to the audit by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) which received an unqualified opinion (WTP).
Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, said that today there were two plenary meetings held by the DPRD. The first was about the accountability report for the 2021 fiscal year APBD. The second was based on the results of the BPK audit where Malang City received the WTP predicate.
"The BPK audit of the 2021 APBD is final, the fair opinion has been completed without exception," explained Bung Edi.
Bung Edi added, entering the first material related to the proposed budget plan of Rp2,5 trillion in the realized spending of Rp2,2 trillion. So with the successful spending of that much, then 87 percent of the planned budget has been realized.
"The income from Malang City from what was planned also increased to reach 107 percent more than the APBD consumption," he explained.
After everything is submitted to the council in this plenary meeting, of course the council members will go through the existing mechanisms. Whether in the commission or in the budget committee.
"We follow of course the executive through the Head of the Budget Team, namely the regional secretary will follow the schedule in the DPRD. After that, there will be opinions from each faction," he explained.
Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairman I Made Riandiana Kartika said, after receiving the mayor's accountability report, it will be further explored. All are open to the public, including the figures presented. "The absorption of 83 percent for our spending is still lacking, but for Malang City, that figure is indeed good on average," said Made.
Made feels that the absorption should be able to reach 90 percent. It will be further investigated why it can be like that. Furthermore, it will continue to be deepened through technical guidance studies and asking for sources from those who made this LKPJ. Finally, it will invite the BPK.
"This BPK is related to the findings found by the East Java BPK on Malang City. So that the council can function better in its supervision," said Made.
Next, the regional apparatus organization will be called, especially the regional apparatus whose absorption is lacking. This is important, because after this the DPRD will discuss the KUA PPAS APBD 2023 so that the same mistake is not repeated. (cah/ram)
