Malang (malangkota.go.id) – An atmosphere of emotion mixed with happiness enveloped thousands of families of prospective hajj pilgrims from Malang City who will depart for the holy land of Mecca from Rampal Field, Sunday (12/6/2022). Especially when these guests of Allah SWT began to enter the bus that would take them to fulfill the 5th pillar of Islam.

Today, there are 690 prospective hajj pilgrims consisting of 310 male pilgrims and 380 female pilgrims who were sent off by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji.
After the departure of the prospective hajj pilgrims, the bespectacled man advised the hajj pilgrims to always maintain their health. So that later they can worship devoutly and can carry out all the pillars or requirements for the validity of the hajj pilgrimage.
"If this is the case, then all these pilgrims will arrive safely in Malang City and can become accepted pilgrims, and ultimately their presence in the midst of society will have a positive impact," he added.
The number one person in the Malang City Government added that in the holy land there is a place, namely the meeting between maqomul mustajab and sa'atul mustajab, which is a mustajab place, a mustajab time. In this place all prayers, God willing, will be answered, therefore pray for the family and the people of Malang City in general.
No less important, he explained, is that this hajj is not just a ceremonial worship, but a worship that has a deep meaning. Maybe not everyone can perform the hajj during their lifetime. Therefore, those who can do it should be grateful for being chosen as guests of Allah SWT. "Be more grateful for all of this," explained Sutiaji.
