"I thank the banking world, BI collaborated with OJK. Where awareness of digitalization is currently getting stronger," said Sutiaji.

The process of economic digitalization itself is realized by launching the Healthy, Innovative, and Safe to Use Market (SIAP) QRIS program. This is one of the efforts to implement payment digitalization initiated by Bank Indonesia to optimize non-cash shopping transactions. The SIAP QRIS program is planned to be applied in several shopping centers in Malang City, including Dinoyo Market and Bunulrejo Market.

So that it becomes an increase in comprehensive and sustainable economic activity.

"Through QRIS we are able to meet the needs of non-cash payments that continue to promise security and convenience for the community. Because the community can make transactions more practically, hygienically, and economically," he continued.

Bandoe added that the use of QRIS as an innovative payment channel is supported by the availability of QRIS merchants in the Malang area, which continues to show an increasing trend to reach 1,8 million merchants in May 2022, mainly dominated by micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) merchants.

Meanwhile, Head of Bank Indonesia Malang Representative Office Samsun Hadi stated that the series of BI Digifest activities in Malang are expected to be a turning point in encouraging innovation in the digitalization process of the economy in Malang City, especially for MSMEs in order to go global and go digital.

"We continue to build this synergy. We start from this Digifest. We invite various parties to synergize, starting from designers, MSMEs, banking, from related associations.
